What is premises liability?
Premises liability covers a lot of different types of causes of action. Whether it's a slip and fall, a trip and fall, negligent security, many times, we will go out and do a forensic investigation at the beginning of a case. We'll actually hire architects and engineers to go out to the location to see what caused the defect and whether the property is up to code. Oftentimes, there are several different factors that contribute to causing a trip and fall, or a slip and fall case and those have to be nailed down right away, for the use of forensic experts and investigators to go out and secure all the evidence.
